Wednesday's Child - "The Boy in the Boat"

Louis Ernest Mieusset
b. 21 Dec 1881
d. 26 Sep 1886

This inscription is in French.  I believe it means "Well-beloved Son".
Age 4. He was 3 months shy of his 5th birthday.

I ran across this gravestone when we were visiting Forest Hills Cemetery in Jamaica Plain, Mass to find my Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather.

I have never seen a grave stone like this! How sad that he was just 4. I wonder if he died in a boating accident? Thanks for sharing.

Wow! So poignant! I'm going to look for it the next time I'm in Forest Hills. Such a big cemetery, I'll never find it!

Heather,

This grave stone is in the back by Section 24. I believe it is on the Map at the entrance of Forest Hillis.
