Wordless Wednesday - Camps at Goffstown, NH

The Benedix and Blades Camps Goffstown, NH
Mom had an artist use several black and white photos
to paint this on the wall of her home. Sadly we had
to paint over it to sell her home.

Wordless Wednesday is a daily blogging theme from GeneaBloggers.  Each day has a different them to help give ideas to genealogy bloggers share information.

Hi, I live near Goffstown! Is that camp on Glenn Lake? I saw your story posted on the Geneabloggers website for "Wordless Wednesday" and I had to check it out when I saw it was in Goffstown, New Hampshire. I have some Blades from Massachusetts in my family tree, too. William John Blades married my great Aunt Janet Wilkinson in 1927 in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Heather, I am not sure which Lake. I will ask my sister, Sharon she had visited there many times as a child. I was there once in the late 1970's and don't remember it much. Is William John Blades a decendant of Henry Blades from england?

Uncle Bill Blades came from Nova Scotia. Darn! I thought maybe we had a match!
